OBSERVATORIES
1. Marian Observatory on New Languages, Knowledge and Actions of the Youth (MONELAKAY)
The quintessential figure of the Mother, Mary, in Christian and Muslim cultural history, has always been considered the guarantor of a solid knowledge of Christ and the fullness of his Gospel, as well as the equitable use of goods, and the ingenuity and creativity that underlie work, credit, and the market from which and into which those goods are inserted. This is the inspiring model of an authentic “integral ecology” and the knowledge associated with it. For this reason, the MCCN, in continuity with PAMI, has created a Department for New Languages, Youth, Knowledge, and Action, with the aim of conducting analysis, research, evaluations, and proposals through study meetings, conferences, seminars, and publications. This Department will seek to explore the dynamics of “convening” the main players and channels of the digital world; will focus on the role and function of Gamification, Digital Marketing, Digital Art/Culture, Computer Art, Digital Design, Augmented Reality, Robotics/Cybernetics, and Cyberculture
(2) Observatory on Approved/Presumed Marian Apparitions and other expressions of apparitions and mystical phenomena in other Religions in Africa, as well as observations of Marian Sanctuaries in Africa (OAPEAAMS)
This Observatory, in addition to the above mentioned areas also intends to study mystical experiences, Marian apparitions, and other forms of apparitions in other religious denominations in Africa.
